Some of my best bead discoveries come when I'm looking for something completely else. Honestly I haven't been buying a lot of new beads lately since I'm still working my way through a massive bead backlog thanks to last year's Bead Fest. I do need to stock up on my most popular beads from time to time, and it's when I was grabbing some adventurine that I found this purple agate tube bead in the Etsy shop's destash area. It's so bloody pretty that I couldn't resist (I also thought it was 3 instead of 1, but that's what happens when you get beadexcited and don't read the fine print). So obviously this is a one of a kind piece featuring heat treated and dyed agate set on brown 20lb hemp. It's 7 1/2 inches long and has a loop and knot closure.
